PROGRAMME THREE is ready!

"At last!" I hear you say, "Where have you been Torquil?"

Yes, I know I've been gone for a very long time but I was busy helping Jean and Daft Uisdean with the Lovely Day Radio show and some other things, too, so let me tell you what else I've been up to...

I now have a page on MySpace

But, the main reason I popped in to talk to you is to tell you that another Radio show is ready for you -

So, Lovely Day Radio Programme Three, is now ready here!

Now I'll be back in a bitty, as I've just got to soak my bunion in a basin of epsom salts. I promise I won't be gone long this time.

I am deeply moved by the latest programme. Could you ask Torquil to arrange for repayment of money and expenses I have incurred believing that it was me and me alone. I will be back on the island soon as I've just heard the news that we need to sort out climate change..could you consult with the island and see what kind of climate they'd like...

Ah my good friend Cyril. Now what's all this about "repayment of money and expenses I have incurred believing that it was me and me alone"? You're a daft eejit so you are. Don't you remember promising me half shares in the "The Spirit of the Last Cross Eyed Creel Maker of Balliskie" if I rigged the paternity test and took half shares in Daft Uisdean?

Regarding climate change, could we have 350 degrees for about i hour and 20 minutes, so that mother can bake one of her Christmas cakes again. (I promise to store the clapdarnachs away from her store of currents this time.)

Can you do a quick fly over the Minch to look for Hamish, Besinia and Magnus? No sign of them yet, but someone spotted a raft, with 3 folk on board, sailing in the Irish Sea.

Do you have a show with Spanish subtitles for my mother back in Puerto Rico?

Torquil Mor said...

Sorry, Julio, we don't have Spanish subtitles. Maybe you could play the show to her at half speed and give her a Spanish-Teuchter dictionary.

Torquil, I'm just south of Alaska at the minute - I'll be there before the morning because I have to do the post run to North Ronaldsay...now...if this keeps up we'll have a handsome profit to share at the end of the year. I do apologise about the dna mix up. I'll have an update on climate change before the weekend is oot. Is there any chance that I could rent oot the hoose I bought for two weeks at New Year or hog ma hay as you insist on calling it.

Hello there my good friend, Cyril. I was having a wee cooking whisky and a thought came to me...

Torquil Mor said...

Oh yes, I found the thought again... here it is in my sock drawer, beside mother's Christmas cake currents...

Anyway, where was I, oh yes, I was wondering if we should be doing a postal run from the North Pole for the next couple of months. I have a good friend up there who needs a lot of mail delivering before December 25th. Let me know. If we do it he says he can give us a great price on reindeer clapdarnachs for next year.

Aye, I think I can rent oot yer wee butt and ben over the holidays. I have lots of folk waiting to make the deposit, so how much should I charge them?

Let me know about negotiations on the climate change deal...
